Bakof@ Pty Ltd ( Bakof@), are committed to protecting your privacy. We recognise our responsibility to keep confidential at all times any information about you which we acquire in connection with your application for Bakof@ services and products.
Bakof@ is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the National Privacy Principles ( “NPP”s) set out in the amendments to the Privacy Act 1988. The amendments apply specifically to the protection of personal information except for employee records which are exempt from the provisions, as a provider of secure electronis (accountancy) services, Bakof@ understands and respects the importance of protecting the privacy of your personal information, whether you are an individual customer, an individual involved with a customer organisation, or a Bakof@ employee or contractor.
This Privacy Policy does not apply:
- to corporate information (unless it is also about any identifiable person); or
- if you access other websites through a link from our web site. In this case the privacy policy ( if any) of the owner of the other web site will apply. Bakof@ will take NO responsibility for the practices of any linked websites in the management and handling of your personal information
Collection Of Information
To enable us to process your application and provide our services we will typically acquire information which includes your name, your e-mail, business address, information relating to your business transactions (sales invoices and purchases), credit card and banking transactions and other relevant business information for us to carry out accountancy services.
Use and disclosure of information
Bakof@ may use and share your information with our Affilate Accountants and partners to help us and them:
- carry out bookkeeping and accountancy services on your behalf
- carry out payroll services on your behalf
- lodge BAS or TAX returns on your behalf
- provide you with financial advise and consultation
- assess financial and insurance risks
- recover debit
- prevent and detect crime
- understand your requirements
- develop and test products and serices
Bakof@ will not disclose your information to anyone outside Bakof@ partners and affiliate accountants except:
- where we have your permission; or
- where we are required or permitted to do so by law; or
- to other companies who provide a service to us or you
- where we may transfer rights and obligations under this agreement.
We will not transfer Personal information about you overseas unless:
- you consent to the transfer
- we reasonably believe that the overseas recipient will treat the information consistently with Australian privacy laws or is subject to a law, scheme or contract substantially similar to the Australian privacy laws
Security
Bakof@ is committed to protecting the security of your data. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. For exmple, we store the personal information you provide in computer servers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities. Bakof@ will take reasonable steps to ensure that all information we collect or use:
- is accessed only by authorised personnel for permitted purposes
- is accurate, complete and up to date

Bakof@ curently use cookies to collate general management data which is used to plan enhancements to our service. Bakof@ NEVER stores any pesonal information in cookies, that can be used to identify you.
